UPI is the fastest method of payment. Payment can be made in just two clicks. You are not required to fill up details like account number and others each time you make a payment.

Secured Payment System
UPI uses the push and pull technique for making payments. When you initiate a payment a push request is sent. When you request a payment a pull request is sent. These push and pull commands are sent through your virtual address like mobile number, QR code, etc. Personal details like account number, card number, and IFSC is not sent to the receiver.

Single Click Two Factor Authentication
You can make two-factor authentication in a single click. This makes UPI more secure.
For example, when you are purchasing at a shopping mall, the merchant asks your virtual address like a mobile number. When the shopkeeper request by placing your mobile number, then your virtual address is confirmed. After this, a message is sent to your mobile for a payment request. When you approve the payment, the transaction is completed.

उदाहरणका लागि, जब तपाईं सपिङ मलमा खरिद गर्दै हुनुहुन्छ, व्यापारीले मोबाइल नम्बर जस्तै तपाईंको भर्चुअल ठेगाना सोध्छन्। पसलले तपाईको मोबाइल नम्बर UPI App मा राखेर Request गर्दा तपाईको भर्चुअल ठेगाना पुष्टि हुन्छ। यसपछि, तपाईंको मोबाइलमा Payment Request को लागि Meassage पठाइन्छ। तपाईंले भुक्तानी स्वीकृत गर्दा, कारोबार पूरा हुन्छ।
UPI in Nepal: Latest Updates
UPI is being developed by Payment Nepal. As per the sources, it is expected to be launched fully by September if all the processes and procedures go well. Payment Nepal is in the process of executing agreements with banks, finance on companies, and co-operatives. The internal technical process is in progress. If all these go well, we will be able to use the UPI app by Bada Dashain.

पेमेन्ट नेपालले UPI विकास गरिरहेको छ। स्रोतका अनुसार सबै प्रक्रिया पूरा भए सेप्टेम्बरसम्ममा पूर्णरुपमा सञ्चालनमा आउने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ । पेमेन्ट नेपालले बैंकहरु, फाइनान्स र सहकारीहरुसँग फाइनान्स सम्झौता गर्ने प्रक्रियामा छ। आन्तरिक प्राविधिक प्रक्रिया अघि बढेको छ । यदि यी सबै कुरा राम्ररी चल्यो भने, हामी बडा दशैंसम्म UPI एप प्रयोग गर्न सक्षम हुनेछौं।
